Last Fall I wrote an article discussing the Million Dollar (Plus) Single Family home market, over the past 3 years, in the areas towns of Reading, North Reading & Lynnfield. As reflected in the article, Lynnfield is the volume leader in these three towns of “Million Dollar and Up” sales. However, as we wind down Q1, we are seeing Reading coming out strong with 3 sales of a million plus already (which is 10% of the total number of homes sold this year!):

Currently, there are 4 active homes in Reading with asking prices above $1 Million, so 2017 could be the year that the Million Dollar Plus mark is a more common price tag. Nothing reflects that more than the latest offering on Reading’s ever-desirable West Side, 55 Walnut Street, listed for $1,675.000. Here are those current homes:
