2018 saw 15 Single Family Homes sell over $1,000,000 in comparison to 2017 that saw 13 sales over $1,000,000. This almost quadruples the 2016 total of 4 single family homes sold over that mark!

What’s the best time of the year to sell a home? As listing agents, It’s a question that we get asked when people are preparing to sell a home, but have some flexibility in their timeframe to do so. There are a few factors to consider, here are the biggest two:
Summer Avenue in Reading, MA has been touted as one of the most desirable streets North of Boston to live on. It's not often that a large contemporary home pops up on the market on the North Shore of Massachusetts, where Colonials, Capes & Victorians are most prevalent, especially one that sits on over 8 Acres of land! Being a "loft-lover", I am so very happy to see a home like this hit the market!
What this information will show is that Reading single family homes averaged OVER $300 per square foot - which is the first time this threshold has been broken here in any given year!
We are over the hallway mark of 2017 by almost two months at this point, and it's no surprise that the condo sales market North of Boston was just as fired up as the single family home sales market.
